Netflix starts using GenAI in its shows and films
Netflix said it used generative AI for the first time for a scene in an Argentinean show called "El Eternauta." Their co-CEO said Netflix’s internal production group teamed up with producers to use AI to create a scene of a building collapsing.

Cursor snaps up enterprise startup Koala in challenge to GitHub Copilot
Cursor maker Anysphere struck a deal to acquire the AI-powered customer relationship management (CRM) startup Koala. As part of the deal, Cursor will bring on several of Koala’s top engineers to Cursor but the entire Koala team will not be joining Anysphere.
